Nurhan BAYRAKTAR

Professor Nurhan Bayraktar was born in Çankırı (Turkey), completed her primary school education in Amasra, secondary and high school education in Ankara. In 1986, she graduated from Hacettepe University School of Nursing. She obtained her master degree in 1988 and PhD in 1994 from Hacettepe University in the field of Surgical Nursing. She worked as assistant professor from 1995 to 2000, as associate professor from 2000 to 2005 and as professor between 2005 and 2014 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing. Prof. Bayraktar has many academic and administrative experiences in Hacettepe University including Erasmus Program Coordinator of Nursing School, Vice Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, Founding Committee member and Vice Director of Hacettepe University Disaster Research and Application Center, Member of Ethical Comitte of Hacettepe University and Member of Educational  Comittee of Hacettepe University and  Editor of Journal of Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing. She has national and international projects within the context of Erasmus program and about first aid, geriatrics. She attended national and international conferences with presentations or as speaker. She has books, articles and courses on surgical nursing, first aid and disaster nursing. Prof. Bayraktar has been working at Near East University Faculty of Health Science, Department of Nursing since 2016.
