Özlem Akalpler was born in Ankara.
She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara.
She graduated from Hacettepe University School of Nursing in 1992.
She worked as a nurse in different hospitals in Turkey for 7 years.
She has been working as a lecturer at Near East University Faculty of Nursing since 2007.
In 2010, she completed her master's degree in Obstetrics and Women's Health Nursing at the
Near East University Institute of Health Sciences.
In 2018, she completed her doctorate education in the field of Obstetrics and Women's Health
Nursing at the Near East University Institute of Health Sciences.
Articles in national and international indexed journals; He has documents and certificates from
the conferences, congresses, symposiums and courses he attended.
She is married and the mother of two children.
