Gaye Bağcı was born in Antakya. She completed her high school education at Hatay Doğa College. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2024 from the Faculty of Nursing at Near East University, graduating as the second-ranked student in her class. In 2024, she began working as a research assistant at the Faculty of Nursing at Near East University.

She began her master’s degree program in the Department of Nursing Fundamentals in 2024 and completed it in 2026 with a thesis titled “Determining Nursing Students’ Levels of Awareness Regarding Injuries from Sharp Instruments.”

She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree, which she began in the fall semester of 2026–2027.
