Lecturer Ganna POLA

Ganna Pola was born in 1984 in Donetsk, Ukraine. She completed her primary, secondary and high
school education with honors in the same city. She graduated from Donetsk University Medical
Faculty with honors in 2007. 2007-2009 Dr. Ganna completed her science specialization in the
departments of pediatric lung and infectious diseases and premature newborn babies. In 2008, she
worked as an assistant medical doctor in the pediatric department at Mater Day Hospital in Malta.
2009 – 2011 Ganna Pola worked as a pediatrician at the children's sports school “Delfin”.
In 2015, she started working as the Student Affairs Coordinator at the English Nursing Department of
the Near East University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. She continued to work in
the same position at the Faculty of Nursing in 2018.
Articles published in national and international indexed journals; Giving speeches and presentations
at congresses and symposiums, Dr. Ganna Pola's academic interests include child health,
breastfeeding, and student study skills. She is married and has two children.
