Damla Erdem was born in Northern Cyprus in 1996. She completed her
primary, secondary and high school education in Northern Cyprus. She
graduated from Near East University Health Vocational School,
Anesthesia Technician Department in 2016, and from Near East
University Faculty of Nursing in 2019. In 2020, she worked in the
General Surgery service and Neurology/Geriatric service of Near East
University Training and Research Hospital. In 2021, she worked as a
nurse at IVOX Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital and also at the
European University of Lefke Health Center within the scope of the
Covid-19 vaccination program. In 2022, she received Birth Coaching
and Pregnancy Pilates/Yoga instructor training in Bursa and is
currently working as a Birth Coaching and Pregnancy Pilates/Yoga
instructor at her pilates studio. Between 2022 and 2024, she worked as
the coordinator and lecturer of the Anesthesia department of the
American University of Cyprus, School of Health Professions. In
2024, she completed her masters degree in Maternity and Womens
Health Nursing, Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences,
Eastern Mediterranean University. She is a PhD student in the field of
Obstetrics and Womens Health Nursing at the Near East University
Institute of Health Sciences Nursing Program and works as a research
assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Womens Health
Nursing.
