The Near East University Nursing Club had the pleasure of coming together with elderly
individuals during the nursing home visit organized on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, within
the scope of Elderly Week.

Throughout the event, students and elderly residents shared warm conversations, sincere
moments, and meaningful experiences together. The visit aimed to make the elderly
individuals feel valued and supported, while the small treats offered and the genuine attention
shown brought smiles to their faces, creating the most memorable moments of the day.
This meaningful event was carried out under the supervision of our faculty member, Assoc.
Prof. Ezgi Bağrıaçık, and also contributed to the development of students’ professional
responsibility and social awareness.
As the Near East University Nursing Club, we will continue touching the lives of elderly
individuals, who are the most valuable representatives of our past, standing by their side and
promoting social awareness.
