Duygu Oktay was born in Hatay in 1993. She graduated from Hatay Fevzi Çakmak High School in 2011 and from Near East University Nursing Department in 2016. Immediately afterwards, she started her master's degree at the Near East University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing and graduated in 2018. In 2018, she started her PhD program in the Nursing Department at the Near East University Graduate Education Institute and is currently continuing. She has been actively working at Özay Günsel Children's University, which is within the Near East University, since 2019.
She has articles in national and international indexed journals, book chapters in national indexes, and presentations at congresses. Duygu Oktay's academic interests include; There are addiction therapy, play therapy practices, symbolic meanings of toys used in play therapy, obsessive-compulsive disorder diagnosis and treatment methods, and meta-analysis training.
